It is reported that there has been an increase in the number of people migrating to Russia from some European Union countries, and this process is also attracting attention at the parliamentary level. Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, announced that the reasons for the migration flow are related to various social and ideological factors.

Volodin stated that approximately 150 Europeans migrate to Russia every month, and the number of applications is dynamically increasing. According to him, applicants most often cite factors such as security, accessible medical services, educational opportunities, freedom of speech, and the absence of an LGBT agenda.

According to Russian officials, the migration trend is more frequently observed among citizens of European countries where both economic and social concerns are increasing. At the same time, it is noted that economic difficulties in Europe, particularly the rising cost of living, influence these decisions.

Moscow officials do not rule out that this process may continue in the coming months and that the flow of applications could reach a higher level than current indicators.
