In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return to the liberated territories continues. Those resettling to Kangarli village of Aghdam district are families who were temporarily accommodated in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

In this phase, 43 families – 176 people – have been resettled to Kangarli village.

The residents returning to their native land thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for being surrounded by comprehensive state care. They also expressed their gratitude to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and prayed for mercy for our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.

It should be noted that currently, more than 43,000 people live in Karabakh and East Zangezur, including former internally displaced persons resettled there, as well as those working on projects implemented in the region, performing official duties in local divisions of various state institutions, and employed in re-established healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy enterprises.
