The US Senate has passed a bill concerning the defense budget for fiscal year 2026. The approved document sets the total expenditure at over nine hundred billion US dollars.
According to editorial reports, the approved defense budget also allocates four hundred million US dollars for arms supplies to Ukraine. It is stated that these funds will be used for security and military support purposes.

The next stage for the bill to become law requires approval from the Presidential Administration. The volume of defense spending is assessed as one of the highest indicators in recent years.
