The editorial reports, citing Fox News, that the USS Boxer amphibious assault group and 4,500 Marines have already set sail for the Middle East. This military reinforcement is being assessed as part of preparations for possible future military operations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in turn, accused British Prime Minister Keir Starmer of endangering the safety of the British people by allowing British bases to be used for attacks against Iran. He also recalled the US situation during the Vietnam War, noting that even when hundreds of US soldiers died and the outcome was clear, they said the war was going well.
