The US Department of Justice and the Department of State have offered a reward of 50 million US dollars to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest of Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro. The official video statement regarding this was made by US Attorney General Pamela Bondi.

It is reported that the reward program was announced amid accusations that Maduro violated international law and US legislation. US authorities accuse him of corruption, drug trafficking, and other serious crimes.

Experts believe that this step will further increase Washington's pressure on the Caracas administration. The Venezuelan side, however, rejected the accusations, calling them a political provocation.
