US President Donald Trump, during his appearance on "Fox and Friends," announced that an investigation has been launched under the RICO Act regarding allegations that billionaire George Soros provided financial support for organized protests across the country that turned violent.
The editorial office reports that Trump made this statement after encountering protesters at an expensive restaurant in Washington. The President stated that the protesters' prior knowledge of his restaurant visit created a security concern for the White House. Trump also emphasized that some participants appeared to be financially well-off, suggesting they might be paid protesters.
Trump recalled that Soros donated $128.5 million to the Democratic Party in the 2022 elections and noted that financial aid was provided to left-leaning organizations through the Open Society Foundations, led by his son Alex Soros. Soros's organization, however, issued a statement emphasizing that it does not support violent actions and that Trump's claims are false.
The issue has intensified further against the backdrop of Charlie Kirk's murder. In his address to the nation from the Oval Office, the US president blamed the hateful rhetoric of radical left-wing groups, stating that political violence and conspiracies are a result of this propaganda. Trump called on both the media and the public to jointly combat hate speech.
