The Cabinet of Ministers has made changes to the “Rules for the Agreement of Conformity Assessment Activities of a Foreign Country's Conformity Assessment Body in the Territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” approved by its decision dated May 30, 2014.
In this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decision.
According to the decision, henceforth, if the accreditation document issued to the conformity assessment body in a foreign country is valid, a decision on the agreement of activities will be made, and a certificate of agreement of activities will be drawn up and submitted to the applying body within 2 working days.
Furthermore, if it is determined that the accreditation document issued to the conformity assessment body in a foreign country is not valid, a decision on refusal to agree on activities will be made, and a copy of the decision will be sent to the applying body within 2 working days.
Until now, these periods were 1 day.
