Aygun Hajiyeva also noted that ADA University attaches special importance to modern urban planning and sustainability issues.

Katerina Bezgachina, Communications Director of the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), emphasized in her speech that holding WUF13 in Azerbaijan creates unique opportunities for the media. She noted that this event will provide journalists with the chance to communicate directly with global experts, closely follow international practices, and cover the most current topics in urban planning on-site.

Within the framework of the information session, Jamila Ismayilzade, Head of the Substantive Content Department of WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, spoke on “WUF13 Topics, Dialogues”; Chagri Karimzade, Head of the Urban Planning and Architecture Department of the Baku City Architecture and Urban Planning Main Department under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke on “Baku City Master Plan”; Sabina Mammadova, Chief Coordinator for Inclusive Event Planning at WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, and Leyla Safarli, Event Manager for Accessibility and Inclusivity, spoke on “Accessibility and Inclusivity at WUF13 Event”; and Nargiz Gulmaliyeva, Lead Advisor of the Transport Policy Department of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, spoke on “Green Transport, Micromobility.”
