Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has publicly clarified his stance on the platform dubbed the "Peace Council." According to him, although some circles present this body as a parallel organ to the United Nations, he is convinced that such a possibility is not real and simply thinks it's impossible.
The editorial informs that Aleksandar Vučić emphasized during his remarks on this issue that China has only stated it received an invitation, adding that leading European states such as France, England, Germany, and Italy are not participating in this initiative.
The Serbian President noted that it is difficult to say at the current stage in which direction the process will develop and that the course of the situation will need to be monitored. In his opinion, the legitimacy of such initiatives at the international level is determined by the breadth and political weight of the participating countries.
Vučić's statements have sparked discussions in international diplomatic circles and have once again raised questions about the real influence of the Peace Council and its potential role in the global governance system.
