Japan's famous clothing brand Uniqlo is preparing to return to Russia. On August 31, the company applied to Rospatent for the registration of 10 new trademarks.
The editorial office reports that among the applications are the names “Uniqlo” and “Yuniklo”. This step is expected to allow the Japanese brand to reopen its stores in Russian shopping centers in the near future.
According to reports, Uniqlo's return could intensify competition in the clothing sector of the Russian market. As in the brand's previous operations, the main focus will be on selling affordable clothing products aimed at the mass market.
