Ulviyya Ilyasova, who works as a cosmetologist, has been arrested.
According to “Qafqazinfo”, the Baku Court of Appeal issued such a decision today.
The court deemed the victim's complaint valid. A pre-trial detention measure has been chosen for U. Ilyasova.
It should be noted that reasonable suspicions have been established that Ulviyya Ilyasova, despite not having medical education or the relevant license, caused significant harm leading to severe health consequences for Mila Alibeyova by performing illegal “liposuction-fat removal, body contouring” surgical operations, as well as other surgical and aesthetic interventions at various locations. She has been charged under Article 314.2 of the Criminal Code (negligence leading to serious consequences).
This is not the first such incident involving Ulviyya Ilyasova. Previously, Ulviyya Ilyasova, director of “AzE Estetik Mərkəz” LLC, was accused of causing the death of her sister-in-law, Sabira Valiyeva, by performing an illegal body contouring operation in the kitchen of her home in Baku. In April of this year, by court verdict, U. Ilyasova was deprived of the right to engage in activities requiring special qualifications in healthcare bodies for a period of 3 years and sentenced to 3 years and 2 months of imprisonment. The verdict stated that she should serve her sentence in a settlement-type correctional facility.
For the latest crime, U. Ilyasova had been sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment, with the condition that she serve her sentence in a settlement-type correctional facility. Subsequently, the Supreme Court overturned the verdict and sent the case back for re-investigation.
