The Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer have the ability to hold their positions, and the army has started to collapse. This was stated by Chas Freeman, former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, on the YouTube channel of Daniel Davis, a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel.
