Jeremiah Beltran (44) and his Native American family, who came from Kansas City, USA, to visit the Black Sea region, were captivated by Trabzon's nature and decided to live there. Over time, the family's love for Trabzonspor grew even stronger, and they are often seen in the stadium stands. Their headdresses, reminiscent of Native American attire, attract special attention among fans, and they support the team with great passion.
The editorial office reports that Beltran stated that he and his wife first came to Trabzon in 2020 and were captivated by the city's nature, plateaus, mountains, and sea: “We first went to a Trabzonspor–Fenerbahçe match, and that match sparked our love for Trabzonspor,” he noted. The family quickly adapted to the city and continued their interest in football by watching Trabzonspor matches.
The family, who adopted the slogan “Everywhere is Trabzon for us” as a way of life, decorated their home with Trabzonspor championship posters and signed jerseys. Some of their children play in amateur football teams in the city, and the family celebrates match days in a festive atmosphere.
Jeremiah Beltran said: “On match days, we play Trabzonspor music at home, wear our jerseys, and the children paint their faces. I believe we will be champions this year. Whether we win or lose, we love Trabzonspor.” Their favorite players are Uğurcan Çakır and Paul Onuachu.
Beltran stated that their Native American-style headdresses always attract attention in the stands, emphasizing that he brought these accessories from the USA and chose them to match the claret and blue colors. According to him, “Whether we win or lose, we love Trabzonspor.”
Trabzonspor further expanded its international fan base with the Beltran family from the USA.
