An armed attack was carried out on a police station in the Balçova district of Izmir. As a result of the incident, two police officers were martyred, and one police officer was seriously wounded.
The editorial office reports that Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor Ali Yeldan stated in his declaration: a total of 2 police officers were martyred during the attack, and 6 people, including both citizens and police officers, were wounded.
Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are taking additional security measures in the region.
