Amid ongoing talks between Ukraine and Russia, Turkey has put forward a new initiative.
The editorial office reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, speaking at the opening of the third round of talks held in Istanbul, stated that they offered assistance in the implementation and monitoring of a possible ceasefire agreement.
Fidan noted that Turkey is ready to support this process through both military and diplomatic channels and considers the establishment of stability in the region a priority.
It should be noted that the Ukraine-Russia talks are being held behind closed doors, and official statements regarding the outcomes of the meetings will only be released at the final stage.
