Although US President Donald Trump received a royal welcome at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, protests against his second state visit were held outside the castle grounds.

The editorial board, citing PBS News and Associated Press, reports that thousands of people marched in central London to protest the visit. The “Stop Trump U.K.” coalition participated in the action, with demonstrators marching towards Parliament with slogans like “No to racism, no to Trump” and “Dump Trump.” Police deployed 1600 officers to the streets, and several people were detained.

Trump and First Lady Melania were greeted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle and took a carriage ride. However, at the same time, “Trump is not welcome” slogans were chanted in Windsor and London. An action involving the projection of an image of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein onto the castle was even held, and four people were reportedly arrested in connection with it.
