The editorial office reports that the BBC assessed this step as a means of pressure from Trump on Zelenskyy. According to the publication's assumption, the map may aim to persuade the Ukrainian leader to make territorial concessions and, in return, achieve a peace agreement.
According to the information, the placement of the map in the hall before the talks attracted attention, and it is expected to be one of the main discussion topics to be raised in closed-door meetings.
