US President Donald Trump has made harsh statements targeting businessman George Soros and his son.
The editorial office reports that Trump claimed in a post on “Truth Social” that Soros and his son supported violent protests in various US cities. He stated that they should be prosecuted under the RICO Act, which is applied in the fight against organized crime.
Trump said in his speech: “George Soros and his radical leftist son must be prosecuted under the RICO Act for supporting violent protests across the United States. We will not allow these lunatics to further divide America.”
The President added that Soros and his supporters' free movement in the country will be put to an end:
“Soros and his psychopathic gang have caused great harm to our country! This includes his crazy friends on the West Coast. Be careful, we are watching you.”
The RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) Act is a federal legal mechanism applied in the US to combat organized crime.
Trump's statement drew attention ahead of the elections. This is because George Soros is considered one of the main donors of the Democratic Party, and these remarks have reignited debates about his political influence in the US.
