TikTok's U.S. joint venture CEO, Adam Presser, announced that the platform has made significant changes to its policy against hate speech. According to him, the use of the term "Zionist" as an indirect expression of hate speech against protected attributes has now been officially prohibited.

According to editorial reports, Adam Presser stated that the number of accounts blocked for hate-motivated activity has tripled in 2024. He noted that these measures are part of a series of steps taken to ensure a safe environment on the platform.

Presser said that TikTok is currently in constant collaboration with more than 2 dozen Jewish organizations. These organizations promptly provide TikTok management with information and analytical data when they identify trends that violate the platform's rules.

The TikTok executive emphasized that there is no "end point" in the fight against hate speech. In his opinion, digital platforms must constantly adapt to evolving risks and continuously improve their policies to protect user safety.
