A scientific study on the topic of “The Effects of Electronic Cigarettes on the Cardiovascular and Respiratory Systems of Youth” has been launched at Azerbaijan Medical University.
Dr. Turkan Velikhan from the Department of Internal Diseases at Azerbaijan Medical University, who is conducting the study, stated in an interview with journalists that participants will undergo blood, sputum, and additional spirometry examinations as part of the research.
All examinations are free of charge and confidential.
Turkan Velikhan stated that the purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of electronic cigarettes on the heart and lung health of healthy young people.
Young people aged 18–30 are invited to participate in the study.
The study is organized at the Educational-Therapeutic Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University.
