Despite the escalating tension between Thailand and Cambodia in recent days, the parties have agreed to implement a ceasefire regime within the next 24 hours.
The editorial office reports that the Malaysian Prime Minister has made an official statement regarding this. According to him, the ceasefire decision was reached as a result of high-level talks, and the goal is to prevent a larger-scale conflict in the region.
Currently, Malaysia is playing a mediating role in the talks and continues its diplomatic efforts to restore stability in the region. It is also reported that security and humanitarian aid issues are on the agenda.
