PostScriptum, the original cradle of Silo AI, acquired by AMD in 2024 as part of Europe's largest artificial intelligence (AI) operation, is beginning its development phase with NestAI as Europe's innovation laboratory to create new generation technology. NestAI brings together the world's leading experts to create a new generation innovation laboratory.
Redaksiya reports that in just a few months in stealth mode, the team has expanded to approximately 50 world-class AI scientists and engineers, with over 20 PhDs and experience from globally recognized organizations. In 2025, NestAI assembled a team of approximately 20 lead engineers with full physical AI capabilities, combining deep AI/ML expertise originating from Intel with hardware, software, RF/communications, mechanics, and software skills. Since then, NestAI has also added key talent with experience from Palantir, Kongsberg, Saab, Xiaomi, Microsoft, Huawei, HP, Intel, Patria, Sensofusion, Nokia, MIT, UC Berkeley, and many other world-class AI, technology, and defense companies. NestAI plans to expand the team to 100 world-class AI scientists and engineers within the next 6 months. The initial team members forming the NestAI platform team have experience delivering critical AI devices, robotics, and autonomous systems, and creating mission-ready prototypes within months. All activities supported by PostScriptum are aligned with a long-term, balanced development mission, while NestAI boldly begins operating as an innovation laboratory with the goal of creating technologies that will shape the future. Although the company defines itself as a multidisciplinary laboratory, its initial focus is on robotics and unmanned vehicles applied in logistics, inspection, control, security, and defense.
PostScriptum is developing an AI-based European portfolio. PostScriptum aims to be a generation AI company that develops digital category leaders based on AI. PS is committed to supporting, building, and investing in AI-based digital companies to help them reach their full potential. In 2024, Foundation PS announced it had endowed 13 PS Fellow professorships to leading Finnish universities, constituting the first professorships for the ELLIS Institute Finland. PostScriptum has created a rapidly growing portfolio of AI-based companies that strengthen the European ecosystem of AI-based companies.
