Starlink Launches in Niue and Kuwait

Redaksiya · Media ·

The Starlink internet service, operated by Elon Musk's private space company SpaceX, has now been launched in the island nation of Niue in Oceania and in Kuwait. This was announced in official statements. The company's continuously expanding system recorded over 10 million active users last month. The platform, currently serving over 163 countries, is still not available in Turkey despite being within its coverage area.

Redaksiya reports that Starlink's high-speed, low-latency internet service is now available in Kuwait. At the same time, it is noted that the same service has been activated for Niue. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to increase its global reach.

For a long time, there have been claims that this service will come to Turkey in 2026. However, no concrete steps have been taken or official statements made regarding this matter to date. Starlink's technology provides high-speed internet via satellites, expanding connectivity options even in areas with weak terrestrial infrastructure.
