Registration of Insured Persons with Insurers Will Be Conducted Solely by FIN

The registration of insured persons with insurers will be conducted solely using their individual identification number (FIN).

According to the news from the Editorial Office, this is reflected in the amendments made to the Labor Code, the law "On Amendments to the Laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan 'On Individual Accounting in the State Social Insurance System' and 'On Labor Pensions'," for which President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on its application.

Thus, the registration of insured persons with insurers will no longer be conducted using their social insurance number.

This Law comes into force on July 1, 2026.
