An awareness event held in Shaki

An awareness event was organized in Shaki city by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and the State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry. The event was dedicated to the topic of “Recent changes to labor legislation.”

Employees of the Ministry, the Shaki-Zagatala regional department of the Service, as well as more than 60 individuals representing the state and private sectors, participated in the event.

Within the framework of the event, detailed information was provided on the recent changes to labor legislation under the slogan “Know the law, simplify life.” It was stated that more than 400 changes have been made in total to a number of normative legal acts within the framework of the reforms being implemented. It was noted that the main purpose of the adopted changes is to further improve labor relations, ensure more effective protection of employee and employer rights, and increase transparency in the labor market.

At the same time, the application mechanisms and practical implementation of the changes were explained, issues of interest and most frequently questioned by participants were thoroughly clarified, and relevant explanations were provided regarding the correct application of normative requirements.
