The remains of martyr Shahin Heydar oglu Karimov, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been buried in the Alley of Martyrs in the city of Mingachevir.

The martyr's remains were brought to his hometown of Mingachevir today. A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr, funeral prayers were performed, and supplications were recited.

Afterward, the martyr's remains were brought to the Alley of Martyrs in Mingachevir. In addition to the martyr's family members and relatives, heads of the city's executive power, law enforcement agencies, Member of Parliament Aydın Mirzazadə, veterans, martyr families, and representatives of the public attended the burial ceremony.

During the ceremony, the martyr's services to the Motherland were discussed, and it was stated that his memory would always be cherished.

The martyr's remains were laid to rest with a volley of gunfire. The tricolor flag of Azerbaijan, draped over the coffin, was presented to the martyr's mother.

It should be noted that Shahin Karimov was born on December 16, 1973, in Mingachevir. He participated in the First Karabakh War and served in the defense of the Motherland. He went missing during heavy fighting in April 1993. His remains were discovered after Kalbajar was liberated from occupation, and after the relevant expertise and identification procedures were carried out, they were identified and handed over to his family.
