Hajiyev Qilman Surkhay oglu, who was considered missing during the First Karabakh War 32 years ago, has been buried in the Barda district.
A farewell ceremony for the martyr was held in the village of Kalantarly in the Barda district, with the participation of district residents, family members of the martyr, representatives from the Barda District Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, and public figures.
After the farewell ceremony, the remains of the martyr were buried in the village cemetery, and prayers were recited for his soul.
It should be noted that G. Hajiyev, born in 1972 in the village of Kalantarly, Barda district, participated in battles for the defense of our lands during the First Karabakh War. He went missing in February 1994 in the village of Yanshag, Kalbajar district.
The remains of our serviceman, who was considered missing for many years, were identified after appropriate expertise and identification procedures and handed over to his family.
