The editorial office reports that Ms. Pamfilova has received an official invitation from the Armenian side to observe the parliamentary elections. This invitation constitutes the main reason for the Russian CEC Chair's visit to Yerevan.
The issue of the visit was one of the main topics of discussion at a recent meeting between Vaagn Ovakimyan, Chair of the Armenian Central Election Commission, and Sergey Kopırkin, Russia's Ambassador to Armenia. During the meeting, the parties assessed the prospects for developing cooperation.
