Nigar Mehdiyeva, daughter-in-law of Ramiz Mehdiyev, who is accused of treason and other crimes, has been dismissed from her position.
According to information obtained by “Qafqazinfo”, a relevant order has been signed regarding this.
Nigar Mehdiyeva held the positions of Deputy Director for Treatment Affairs and Head of the II Surgery Department at the Oncology Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU).
The information was confirmed to our website by the clinic. It was stated that N. Mehdiyeva was removed from her position at the clinic these days.
It should be noted that after Ramiz Mehdiyev was appointed President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the clinic's director, Ahliman Amiraslanov, hired his daughter-in-law. She was granted the academic title of associate professor.
For information, it should be noted that previously, a “stop” was placed on the exit from the country of Mehdiyev's wife Galina Mehdiyeva, his son – Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Major General Teymur Mehdiyev, his daughter Kamila Aliyeva, and his son-in-law Ilham Aliyev.
