The Sabail District Court of Baku city has issued a ruling on the criminal case concerning Ramiz Anvar oglu Mehdiyev.
According to exclusive information obtained by “Qafqazinfo”, based on the ruling, the court satisfied the petition regarding Ramiz Mehdiyev, who was brought to criminal responsibility for especially grave criminal acts, and chose house arrest as a pre-trial detention measure for a period of 4 months.
It should be noted that R. Mehdiyev served as the head of the Presidential Administration from 1995 to 2019. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as the president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
