A decision has been made regarding the extradition of Ramazan Məhəməliyeviç Herayev, an Azerbaijani citizen detained in Kazakhstan, based on a request from the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to information from the Prosecutor General's Office, based on substantial suspicions that Ramazan Herayev committed the crime of fraud causing significant damage in a criminal case under preliminary investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Main Investigation and Inquiry Department, a decision was made to involve him as a suspect, and an international search was declared for him.
Ramazan Herayev was detained in the territory of Kazakhstan and brought to Azerbaijan under the escort of a special convoy from the Ministry of Justice's Penitentiary Service.
