President Ilham Aliyev has awarded the Order of Honor to a number of individuals. Among those who received the Order of Honor is former ambassador Hasan Zeynalov.

Hasan Zeynalov was born on January 1, 1951, in the village of Yengicə, Sharur district, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, into an intellectual family.
After graduating from high school in 1967, he received his higher education at the Azerbaijan National Economy Institute. Hasan Zeynalov, who started his professional career in the technical field, later held important positions in state administration and diplomatic service.
Hasan Zeynalov worked as a technician, engineer, and chief engineer at the Technical Inventory Bureau of the Baku City Executive Committee from 1970 to 1983.
From 1983 to 1986, he served as the head of the Communal Economy Department of the Executive Committee of the Sabail District of Baku city.
From 1986 to 1992, he again worked as a chief engineer at the Technical Inventory Bureau of the Baku City Executive Committee.
In 1992, he was elected a deputy of the I convocation of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. From the same year, he served as the Permanent Representative of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Baku city and held this post until 2004.
From 2004 to 2010, he served as the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kars, Republic of Turkey.
From 2010 to 2015, he was the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul and simultaneously the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.
From 2015 to 2023, he served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan.
From 2016 to 2021, he also conducted diplomatic activities as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The former ambassador is currently retired.
Hasan Zeynalov is married. He has three children.
