On October 10, an expanded meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State was held in Dushanbe.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev participated in the meeting.
At the event, speeches were delivered by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev, and Tatyana Moskalkova, Chairman of the CIS Human Rights Commission and Russia's Commissioner for Human Rights.
Afterwards, the final documents of the event were signed.
At the meeting, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon was presented with the medal "For Services in the Development of Humanitarian Cooperation".
