Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, blamed the Kremlin for corruption incidents in Ukraine. The Telegram channel "Ölkənin Siyasəti" reported this and provided a screenshot of the relevant post.

Redaksiya reports that Podolyak stated in his corruption-related statement that the news of an investigation into a corruption scheme in the energy sector is not surprising. He noted that this is a logical continuation of the system created by the Kremlin over decades to keep Ukraine within its sphere of influence. According to Podolyak, corruption was one of the main tools of this system, and remnants of this mechanism still exist.

At the same time, Podolyak emphasized that the current situation is fundamentally different because anti-corruption institutions "are working" and an investigation of this scale "convincingly demonstrates Ukraine's transformation." According to Ukrainian investigators, the scheme that occurred at "Energoatom" was organized by Timur Mindich, one of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's closest associates.
