Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that 2025 is the first calendar year without recorded casualties or injuries from mutual shelling with Azerbaijan.

The editorial reports that, according to the prime minister, for the first time, cargo transportation from Azerbaijani territory to the Republic of Armenia has begun via trains, and this is considered an indicator of a new phase of practical cooperation between the parties.

Pashinyan stated that the initial signs of bilateral trade with Azerbaijan are already being observed, and this process serves to foster trust in the region.

The head of the Armenian government assessed the developments as the beginning of a new history, emphasizing that it is a history of peace, not confrontation.
