OpenAI has introduced Prism, a new tool designed for scientific research, theses, coursework, and extensive academic studies. The new system stands out by enabling the creation of ideal scientific texts with a deep level of expertise on any subject.
According to reports, Prism integrates directly with the arXiv platform, automatically selecting and presenting only the latest and most relevant information from this vast database of scientific articles and monographs to the user. The tool fully analyzes the entire structure of the work—from introduction to conclusion—performs fact-checking in seconds, simplifies formulas and calculations, optimizes code, and explains scientific terms.
Prism can also utilize the user's personal notes. After taking photos of lecture notes, diagrams, or sketches, the system generates content based precisely on that material. This approach ensures that the submitted work is directly based on knowledge acquired during the learning process and is considered more acceptable by teaching staff.
Another advantage of the tool is the ability to immediately edit and improve existing texts. Instead of writing theses, users can dictate by voice and interact with the system. Furthermore, Prism supports collaborative work: multiple users can make parallel edits on the same project, and all changes are synchronized with Google Docs in real-time.
