Fog is observed in Sumgayit, Goygol, Ganja, Naftalan, Shamkir, Balakan, Qakh, Shaki, Oghuz, Qabala, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Griz, Yardimli, and Lerik, with visibility limited to 500 meters.
The minimum air temperature recorded is 1 degree in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 2 degrees in the Aran regions, 15 degrees in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 9 degrees in the mountainous regions, and a frost of up to 18 degrees in the high mountain areas.
From the afternoon of January 21, the weather conditions are expected to moderate across the country, with most regions experiencing mostly dry weather from January 22-25. Temperatures will gradually rise, and a moderate south-westerly wind will prevail.
