Nvidia Reports Record Financial Results in Third Quarter

Nvidia has presented historic results for the third quarter of 2025, surpassing expectations. The company achieved $57 billion in revenue, marking a 62 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Net profit on a GAAP basis was $32 billion, representing a 65 percent year-over-year rise.

The editorial office reports that the main portion of the results — $51.2 billion — was generated from the data center business. This figure is 25 percent higher than the previous quarter and 66 percent higher than the same period last year. The remaining $5.8 billion came from the gaming, professional visualization, and automotive segments.

The company's CFO, Colette Kress, attributed the rise in data center revenues to increasing demand for computing power, powerful artificial intelligence models, and the rapid spread of agentic applications. According to her, the scale of “AI factory” and infrastructure projects announced in the third quarter alone is at the level of 5 million GPUs.

Nvidia's Blackwell Ultra GPU line, introduced in March, has met with particularly strong demand. The company's CEO, Jensen Huang, stated that sales have “reached record levels” and that GPUs for cloud providers are completely sold out. According to him, computing demand is growing exponentially in both the training and inference stages.

The company also confirmed the impact of sales restrictions to China. Kress stated that “large orders” for H20 GPUs, intended for generative artificial intelligence, did not materialize due to geopolitical reasons, and competition in the Chinese market is intensifying.

Despite all this, Nvidia forecasts $65 billion in revenue for the upcoming — fourth — quarter. This represents an approximate 14 percent increase on a quarterly basis, and the company's shares rose by more than 4 percent on the stock market within a few hours.

Experts state that Nvidia's data center revenues surpassing its gaming business by tenfold confirms that the company's operational focus has entirely shifted to AI infrastructure. The company's management, however, rejects claims of a “bubble” in the artificial intelligence sector and states that high demand will continue.
