The editorial office reports that, according to information disseminated by Italy's Nova news website, General Khalifa Haftar, who effectively divided Libya into two parts, proposed to settle 1 million Palestinians in Libya and grant them citizenship in exchange for gaining more control over his country's oil resources to improve relations with the US.
According to the information, Haftar's proposal aims to attract Washington's attention and strengthen his positions in the region. An official response from the US has not yet been announced.
