The renaming of Neftchilar Avenue has been proposed.
Modern.az reports that this proposal was made by Jabi Bahramov, PhD in history and Head of the "History of Western Azerbaijan" department at the A. A. Bakikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology of ANAS. He stated this while discussing his research in a documentary film dedicated to Isa bey Hajinski.
According to the scholar, I. Hajinski is a person with a special role in the history of Azerbaijani oil.
“For this reason, it would be fairer if the current Neftchilar Avenue were named Hajinski Avenue” – I. Niftaliyev emphasized.
