From March 2022 to July of the current year, a total of 2,176,436 Russian and Ukrainian citizens arrived in Azerbaijan.
This information was provided by the State Statistical Committee in response to an inquiry from "Report".
It was stated that of those who arrived, 2,067,278 were Russian citizens and 109,158 were Ukrainian citizens.
At the same time, in January-June 2025, the number of Russian citizens who arrived in Azerbaijan was 314,549, and the number of Ukrainian citizens was 17,138.
Furthermore, from March 2022 to July 2024, a total of 1,535,889 Russian and Ukrainian citizens arrived in Azerbaijan. In January-July 2024, 438,066 Russian citizens and 20,189 Ukrainian citizens also entered Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the war between Russia and Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.
