The grant project "Develop with IGCSE: Language Skills Improvement Course for Foreign Language Teachers" continues to strengthen teachers' international language skills.

Within the framework of the project "Develop with IGCSE: Language Skills Improvement Course for Foreign Language Teachers," aimed at enhancing the international knowledge and skills of foreign language teachers, a series of activities supporting the professional development of English language teachers have been implemented.

Within the project, three selected English language teachers participated in trainings aligned with the international curriculum of the Cambridge IGCSE program, offered by Cambridge Assessment International Education. Throughout the course, teachers' active participation was continuously monitored, and their development was assessed across key modules. Concurrently, mentor support was provided to teachers, ensuring a more effective acquisition of the learned knowledge.

Separate seminars are planned to be organized by each teacher who successfully completes the course. Each of these seminars is expected to involve approximately 10 English language teachers, with a total of 30 pedagogical staff participating in this process. The seminars will be conducted in an interactive format, featuring presentations, discussions of methods and approaches learned during the course, and demonstrations of sample lesson models.

In the final stage of the project, a closing ceremony is planned where the achieved results will be presented.

It should be noted that the project is being implemented by Leyla Mustafayeva at Vahid Gahramanov School No. 1 in Gabala city, within the framework of the IX Grant Competition for Development and Innovations in Education by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
