The editorial office, citing Milli.Az, reports that the interruptions in the metro have increased the reliance of public transport users on alternative means of transport. This situation has boosted demand for taxi services and led to a rise in prices.
Passengers, meanwhile, state that movement within the city has become difficult and costs have increased.
Currently, taxi companies are accepting orders for distances that typically cost 6 manats during peak hours for 14 manats.
