The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has stopped announcing the exchange rate of the Iranian rial.
This information was provided to APA by the CBA.
It was reported that, considering the impossibility of obtaining information from traditional reference sources for the Iranian rial, as well as the limited availability and unreliability of alternative sources, the Central Bank has stopped announcing the official exchange rate of the Iranian rial against the manat, effective October 1, 2025.
It was noted that, for similar reasons, most foreign central banks also do not publish the official exchange rate for the rial.
