French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the futility of the ongoing war in Gaza and drew attention to the necessity of a two-state solution in the region.
The editorial office reports that Macron stated in his declaration that the Gaza war has neither an end nor a clear strategic objective: “We need a two-state solution. The continuation of this conflict is a disaster for everyone.”
In his speech, the French President also called on Great Britain. He urged London to officially recognize the Palestinian state together with France and expressed hope that this would accelerate the peace process.
