The entry of the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group into the Middle East, including waters near Iran's coast, has led to further escalation of the military situation in the region. According to Israeli sources, the ship has now entered the CENTCOM area of responsibility and is operating in Iran's vicinity. This was reported by Israel's Channel 13 television.

The editorial reports that Iran's air defense systems were observed being tested over Tabriz last night, with local residents reporting increased military activity in the area. It was also noted that fighter jets of the Iranian Air Force conducted patrol flights over the northeastern part of Tehran, particularly over the Niavaran area.

Residents of Bandar Abbas also reported hearing loud noises and the activation of air defense systems. These activities are presumed to be part of large-scale drills, though they have not yet been officially confirmed by authorities.

The sharp increase in military activity in the region is being closely monitored by international observers with concern. Experts believe that the current situation is aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of both sides, but at the same time, it increases the risk of unplanned escalation. The deployment of the US aircraft carrier in the region is viewed by Iran as a threat to its strategic security, raising the probability of intensified reciprocal military actions.
