Theft of 16,800 manats from "Kontakt Home" warehouse

A theft occurred at the warehouse of the "Kontakt Home" store located at M. Hadi street 2372, Khatai district.

According to Qaynarinfo, the theft was committed by a person working as a laborer in the warehouse. He stole several expensive laptops from the warehouse.

Following a report to the police, the person was detained and charged under Articles 177.2.2 and 177.2.4 of the Criminal Code. Additionally, a pre-trial detention measure was chosen against him by court order.

The criminal case was heard at the Khatai District Court, presided over by Judge Aygun Hasanova. During the trial, the defendant pleaded guilty to the charges. He explained his actions by his financial needs.

The injured party stated in court that the store suffered 16,800 manats in damages. The accused person fully compensated for the damage.

By the court's verdict, the defendant was sentenced to 3 years of restriction of liberty. The period of 2 months and 6 days during which he was detained as a suspect and held in custody was deducted from the imposed sentence at a rate of 2 days for every 1 day, resulting in a final sentence of 2 years, 7 months, and 14 days of restriction of liberty.



It should be noted that "ABC-Telecom" LLC was registered by the state in 2006, with a charter capital of 10,000 AZN. The owner of the company is Fazil Israfilov, and its legal representative is his son, Hasan Israfilzade.
