US Ambassador to Turkey, Tom Barrack, announced that a ceasefire agreement has been reached between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Syrian President Ahmed Sharaa.
The editorial office reports that Barrack noted in a post on his X account that this historic reconciliation took place with Washington's mediation, and the agreement was also supported by Turkey, Jordan, and other countries in the region.
The main objective of the agreement is to reduce escalating tensions in the region, particularly to prevent violence in Southern Syria. Diplomatic sources evaluate this agreement as the beginning of a new phase of stability in the Middle East.
