Voter preparations are ongoing in Iraq ahead of the elections. This process plays a crucial role in the country's political life and ensures citizens' right to elect their representatives. Elections are of significant importance in making decisions for the country's future and shaping its political system.

Redaksiya reports that in the 329-seat parliament, 320 seats will be determined by general vote, while 9 seats will be allocated within minority quotas. Among the voters participating in the elections are security forces affiliated with the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). This is an important step taken to ensure the security of the elections and protect the voting rights of all citizens.

In the elections, 31 alliances, 38 parties, and 75 independent candidates will compete for the 329-seat parliament. This indicates that the elections will take place in a competitive environment representing diverse political views. Within the framework of "special voting," 1 million 313 thousand people working in security agencies will go to polling stations. This ensures the participation of security forces in the election process as well. The country, with a population of 46 million, has 21 million voters.
