According to information released by the Iranian military, the Iranian Navy has launched a missile strike against the US aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln".
The editorial reports, citing the source, that Iran has repeatedly announced attacks on this aircraft carrier after the start of operations by the US and Israel. On March 2, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that "Abraham Lincoln" had left its position after attacks and headed southeast into the Indian Ocean. On March 5, Press TV reported that Iranian drones had hit the aircraft carrier, after which the alleged strike group also changed its position.
The US has denied these claims, stating that the ship was not damaged.
